Kate Horgan
Vice President, Government Affairs
Kate Horgan leads the government affairs team at The Dupont Group, bringing more than 20 years of experience in government and public policy at the federal and state levels. Her work focuses on local government, health care, energy and communications.
About Kate
Kate’s career includes serving on the staffs of U.S. Representatives Charles F. Bass and Mario Diaz-Balart and U.S. Senators John E. Sununu and Kelly A. Ayotte. In 2010, she served as political director for the New Hampshire Republican State Party’s House PAC. Her private-sector experience spans communications and marketing, including helping candidates develop their messages, presentations and campaign materials.
In addition to leading The Dupont Group’s government affairs practice, Kate serves as executive director of the New Hampshire Association of Counties and works with the firm’s association management and events team at Rumford Management.
Kate is an adjunct faculty member in New England College’s graduate programs and at Granite State College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Anselm College and a Master of Science in Political Science, with a concentration in Professional Politics, from Suffolk University.
Kate’s community involvement includes serving as co-chair of the New Hampshire State Society’s Annual Golf Tournament, which supports education stipends for New Hampshire college students pursuing internships in Washington, D.C. She served as an officer of the Manchester Development Corporation Board from 2016 to 2022, supporting the city’s economic development initiatives, and serves on the board of Speedway Children’s Charities.
In 2021, Kate was named to the New Hampshire Union Leader’s 40 Under Forty class.
